My partner and I are over the moon with the experience we had at Fernbank Farm. From the moment we booked, Esther was extremely reliable and professional in all her dealings with us and made us feel so at ease with the organisation and lead-up to the big day.

I absolutely HATE planning and organising things and Esther went above and beyond to cater for exactly what we wanted, taking away so much stress on the big day.

Nothing was too much to ask of her and I honestly don’t know how to thank her enough for making our wedding day more than we could’ve dreamed of. With so much included in our package, it left very little for us to have to organise on our own.

We stayed on sight the night before and night of our wedding and the accommodation and facilities exceeded our expectations. The old heritage house was so beautiful to stay in!

With its natural beauty, touched up with beautiful and elegant stylings by Esther the venue was absolutely perfect! Our guests had the most amazing time and raved about the venue and how impressed they were afterwards. I would hands down recommend Fernbank Farm to anyone out there searching for the perfect venue, it will not disappoint.

Amongst others, our wedding was postponed twice due to Covid. That was not a problem with Esther at Fernbank. The amount of experience and professionalism that went into the planning and execution meant that we had literally, the best experience and best day of our lives.
It was almost not going to happen due to the rains and road closures however the road opened up literally the day before the wedding!
Fernbank is picture perfect and the accommodation is amazing.
Every single guest has emphasised how beautiful the grounds and atmosphere were, comments like...'The best wedding I have ever been to.." , will always be remembered. Absolutely nothing to critique or fault here.

Fern bank farm is the most enchanting venue! We could not recommend this venue enough! We almost had to cancel our wedding due to the early restrictions on covid -19 that came out a day before our wedding. However, we were very fortunate that Fern bank farms staff are highly flexible, caring and friendly. They moved the venue outside for us and their health and safety routines where impeccable. They were very negotiable and sympathetic towards us, however, still ensured they abided by the rules of the government so everyone felt safe, comfortable and happy. They truly went above and beyond to make our day run ahead and it was magical! Their attention to detail and their customer service was more than we could of asked for. Caleb and I were so blessed to be married at Fernbank Farm in December 2019. Esther and Meg were absolutely INCREDIBLE in every aspect of the planning and the wedding day itself. From the initial tour of the beautiful venue, to step by step choosing the details, to Fernbank’s quick response to many emails, to the bump-in on site and throughout our big day; we felt entirely looked after and that it all made for the best day of our lives. We particularly loved staying in the on-site accomodation with our bridal party and family. It made for such precious memories and a whole lot of laughs! We had our wedding at Fernbank Farm on the 30 November 2019. It was just the perfect timing for all the gardens, they were so lush and the arbour was spectacular!

We chose the venue for two main reasons - the first was the convenience of having accommodation, reception and ceremony all in one place so we could spend extra time with our nearest and dearest and the second was all the opportunity for amazing photos. Fernbank did not disappoint on either!!

The old homestead is just divine, both houses are equip with everything you need and have the best bedding!! I slept like a log the night before - not a lot of brides say that haha!

The team were very helpful, flexible and dedicated to making our day perfect. The food was delicious - and there was sooooo much!! We really wanted cocktails and the team made us delicious vats of Pimms and Dark and Stormy’s which tasted better than I’ve ever made them hah!

I would do my wedding day over again and again and would love  to one day attend a wedding at Fernbank as a guest. EVERY ONE complimented us on finding the most beautiful venue possible.

Fernbank Farm is an exceptional venue to hold your next event!  We made a weekend of it for my son's wedding last Saturday.  Hiring both houses on-site which are superb.  The decor is stunning and they have everything you need.   Esther and Meg provided a professional event service.  Their exquisite taste in decorations for the wedding day was amazing.  The last week was an emotional roller coaster with all the changes in holding an event.  Throughout this, both Esther and Meg provided a flexible approach and were supportive of the change in plans.  I highly recommend this venue to hold your next event or a weekend escape.

Wow! We just had the most beautiful wedding at Fernbank Farm! ✨ our day was magical and went sooo smoothly! We really are so lucky to have been married in such a wonderful place! 

Everything was extremely organised on the day leaving me to enjoy a stress free morning of getting ready. Esther coordinated all of the staff on the day including flowers, cake, musicians, photo booths, bar staff and so much more.. Clean up was also taken care of the next day with all of the decorations we bought bundled up into bags for us to take home! This gave us time to enjoy a beautiful bbq breakfast outside near the dam.

We had my sisters wedding at Fernbank Farm 2 weeks ago. We were looked after extremely well and the staff were very accommodating! The property itself is absolutely stunning and so much work and love has gone into every square inch. My sister was married under the old Oak tree which was just down the road from the property and it was a stunning ceremony. My husband and I own and operate a mobile bar, which is a gorgeous converted horsefloat that fit the scene perfectly, and once again the staff went out of their way to ensure that we had everything we needed and a great spot to set up. You judge the integrity and thoughtfulness of a business through their ability to support you in all aspects of your experience, and without a doubt, we can say that Meg and her team just go above and beyond to ensure your experience is everything you dreamed.

Fernbank Farm was absolutely beautiful and the location was stunning. It was a little pricey but looking back it was the most perfect setting for our wedding. The venues marquee was beautiful, it is permanent with a big chandelier. They set up all our tables, decorations and styling which made it very easy for me. Our guests thought it was a fairy tale wedding.

From the minute we booked everything was taken care of by Meg, leaving no doubt in our minds that it would all run smoothly. The styling is to die for and we personally loved being so close to nature with the horses, chooks, geese and puppies! You'll never want to leave the gorgeous accomodation and struggle to choose from all the spectacular spots for photos!

"This is an absolutely amazing property, a hidden gem in the Yarramalong valley, that cannot be recommended highly enough!!
 
We were married at Fernbank in October 2011, and so many of our guests commented on the lovely farm and the beautiful (heritage-listed) guest house that the bridal party were able to stay in the night before the wedding. From the moment we met Meg (the owner of the property), we knew that we would be very well looked after in every possible aspect! The house is immaculate, with many many beautiful areas to sit, enjoy and relax. Meg has everything just right!
 
It's difficult to describe just how special the inside of the house is - it's full of tastefully decorated bedrooms with French detail throughout, from the king size main bedroom with matching linen and wallpaper through to the most beautiful hallway, with crystal chandeliers and gilded mirrors. The other bedrooms also feature antique furniture with very comfortable beds, lots of wardrobe space, and ceiling-length windows for views of the landscaped gardens.
 
The kitchen is home-style and comfortable (with all modern conveniences of course!) and can seat about 10 people, or there is a formal dining room and grand piano for a more sophisticated dinner if you choose. There is a great log fire that we used all throughout the day (Meg even lit it when we hadn't time before the wedding), and central heating/aircon. It's so easy here to ignore all technology, but there are TVs in the rooms and the loungeroom has a large plasma TV too.

Stunning though it is, the homestead is only a small part of your experience at Fernbank. This farm is not your typical "two paddocks and a shed". From the gazebo overlooking the dam, to the fort for the kids and stunning walks over rolling green hills, you too will fall in love with Fernbank the moment you pass through the gates.

I would highly recommend Fernbank to 2-3 couples or a small family wanting a fantastic week or weekend away from the stress and rush of city life - go and collect your own eggs, play some tennis, have a swim, ride horses nearby, and just relax in the beautiful gardens and house. We will be back for our anniversary with the bridal party, hopefully every year!"
